Port 1 The Winnebago Orchestra - This is What's Going On E.P.
	This is what’s going on, a 5 track CD (EP) by The Winnebago Orchestra was released on 1st November 2001. This fast selling debut EP is a superb example of an evolving musical synthesis. Blending English beat poetry with a melodic backdrop kissing the ghosts of The Faces, Wire, Tom Waits, Felt and many others. Port 2 Buckley's Chance 3 Songs E.P.
	Buckley's chance. This unpredictable group present a highly strung, menacing, melodic energy. Fresh from a film set in the Sierra Nevada, Buckley’s Chance feature the uncompromising voice and presence of the inimitable urban cowgirl Syuzen Buckley. Meanwhile, Buckley’s gang of gung-ho, coffee addicted guitar slingers from Scotland kick up a storm.

	The Good Life’s Founded Upon L.S.D., the second 5 track CD (EP) by The Winnebago Orchestra is due for release in March 2002. Featuring, Midnight Blue, Restraint (part 2), Granny’s Bonnet and the already legendary Ode to Noah Slankard, it will inevitably become a classic independent release. Out soon. Port 4 Various Artists Compilation Album - The Maverick Tendency
	The Maverick Tendency, a 16 track Compilation CD by Various Artists. Oporto Records exists in order to champion the bon viveur, wit and raconteur. The Maverick Tendency will include work by White Town, Phil Wilson, Lightspeed, Endless Bob Brown, The Winnebago Orchestra, Buckley's Chance, Malcolm Ross, The Hopwood Band, G.O.U.R.G.E.O.U.S. Peter Coyle, Bernadette & Wolfgang, Tessa Perry, Elizabeth Jane and other very significant artists.

	Debut release from Instil, the first 3 track e.p. from the two 16 year old lads from Birmingham out now. Imagine America, Neil Young and Metallica meting up in the music room at secondary school to chew the fat on alt country rock, that's Instil.
Port 10 Various Artists sampler - For Those About to Mok E.P.
	'For those about to mok...’A four Track Taster EP. The Oporto label this week releases a festive taster EP featuring eminent artists from a rich and diverse pool of maverick talent. Leading the way are Bernadette and Wolfgang with a crisply ebullient take on the old country weepie Paper Roses, like Debbie Harry fronting the Pixies! Next up is ex-Lotus Eater Peter Coyle with the classic Reach for the Sun, a slice of sublime scouse pop from the much loved pop genius. A song for times when it seems there are no answers. The second half of the EP showcases Oporto stars from across the broad Atlantic. Our man in New York, Spike Priggen, plugs in with It’s Alright and puts a smile on the face of any self-respecting basement rock ‘n’ roll freak...way to go, fella. From New York we cut to Arizona where our ex-pat buddie Bryn Corbett directs Lightspeed Future Lullaby. 	BMC. He hails from England, but now resides in Arizona. Moby meets Tuxedo Moon in the shower, of which both of them are sharing with Brian Eno, shortly after lunch with David Byrne narrating William S Burroughs to a handful of proles, probaly 'Naked Lunch'?
Port 16 The Winnebago Orchestra - Homage Frais. E.P.
	OUT NOW! The Winnebago orcherstra present their first tribute e.p. entitled Homage Frais. Here the boys pay tribute to Shane McGowan's Nips track, the classic Gabrielle, a nod to poor departed Joe Strummer with a fitting version of their nearly number one Bankrobber, ending the e.p. is Warhols 15, a classic Blue Aeroplanes track that sounds like Robert Wyatt fronting Suede, get with it and you'll feel much happier for it!
